I’m Dr. Gina Wilt, founder of GMW Group, a strategy-to-momentum firm partnering with education organizations to move from intention to execution. I work at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and delivery, helping organizations sustain progress without adding unnecessary complexity or overhead.

I live in Arizona with my husband, Walter, whom I’ve known since I was twelve, and our three dogs—Doug, Dexter, and Sky—who keep life lively. Our family spans stages: my son is 28 and building his own life, and my daughter is 18 and currently attending and living at Arizona State University. Outside of work, I’m usually hiking, reading, traveling, watching football (a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan), or spending time with my dogs and the people who make life interesting—experiences that mirror my professional roots, which span public school teaching, teacher preparation, and higher education leadership, and keep my work grounded in real education systems and real lives.

What I Do

I partner with education organizations, nonprofits, higher education units, and cross-sector initiatives navigating growth, transition, or complexity with limited internal capacity. Some need clarity on direction. Others already have a strategy and need support ensuring it holds in practice. In both cases, I operate as a partner, making decisions alongside leadership and staying close to the work so momentum doesn’t stall.

Experience & Perspective

Alongside GMW Group, I serve in a senior leadership role at Arizona State University, leading large-scale professional learning, workforce, and partnership initiatives in the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation. My work spans business model design, revenue-generating programs, partnerships, and execution across complex education systems. That experience grounds my advisory work in real institutional constraints - pragmatic, capacity-aware, and execution-focused.
